Tan Prep

Please do your everything shower 24 hours before your appointment. This includes shaving, exfoliating, washing your hair, etc. Avoid using cream based body washes as they can create a barrier on your skin. Opt for a gel base body wash instead.

Exfoliate your body 24 hours before your appointment, at the latest. Avoid body scrubs and loofah’s as they can leave a residue. Opt for an exfoliating mitt instead.

Please shave 24 hours before your appointment. Avoid shaving cream, and razors with a moisture strip. Waxing should be completed 24-48 hours before your appointment.

Avoid using lotions, oils, deodorant, perfumes or makeup on the day of your appointment as they can form a barrier, which may prevent the tan from properly adhering to your skin.

Post Tan Care & Tips

Stay home, and stay dry! Avoid contact with water at all cost. This allows the tan to develop properly and prevents potential patchiness. Do no wear tight clothing. Keep your hands off your hot body; this will prevent the palms to get stained.

Rinse your tan off at the time discussed with lukewarm water only, without using any soaps. Once the water runs clear, you can hop out and pat yourself dry; do not rub. Your tan will continue to develop for another 24 hours. Your next shower should be no earlier than 24 hours after your initial rinse.

The best way to maintain your tan is to stay hydrated and moisturized. Drink extra water, moisturizer daily and use lukewarm water  when showering. A hydrated body will hold a tan much longer.

Avoid swimming in the pool/ocean for extended periods of time, long hot showers/baths, saunas and excessing sweating. Our solutions are sweat resistant but not sweat proof.
